"Energy shortage", "carbon footprint", "energy saving", "sustainable development". These seemingly new terms are now everywhere in our daily life. They also have become problems now which we have to seriously consider. Accelerated development of economy in China is at the price of energy consumption and damage to the environment. Energy can lead to economic development and wealth accumulation, while it has also become the fuse of conflict and war. Therefore, with ensuring peace and development, we must first consolidate the country's energy capital. In addition to speed up the development of renewable energy and new energy, reducing non-renewable energy use and improving the utilization of traditional energy sources is an effective way to conserve resources. In the Copenhagen Conference in December 2009, most countries made a commitment on the target to reduce carbon emissions of future development. Our commitment is till 2020, carbon emissions of GDP per capita will decrease by 40% to 50% over 2005, which clearly demonstrates our confidence in energy conservation and also provides the driving force around the world for energy saving.
